Namunukula mountain of Sri Lanka

Namunukula mountain is very important mountain of Sri Lanka and which is situated border of Badulla and Monaragala Districts and main mountaon of Badulla situation. Hantana Mountain is Lovers mountain of students of University of Peradeniya as we know. However one day Namunukula became lovers mountain of students of University Of Uva Wellassa Sri Lanka.

There are main two entrance to enter Namunukula mountain. Namunukula is at Passara. Passara is provincial Division of Badulla district.

If you like to travel Namunukula first you should come to Passara place. Then you can climb to top of the Namunukula Mountain.

In this moment I thought some lyrics parts of some singers. They are "Thumuna Namunukula" and "Meedum Saluthira Palandi Namunukula" This song describe that how about comfortable at Namunukula. See and feel.

DUNHINDA WATERFALLS

Dunhinda waterfall is one of beautiful waterfall of Sri Lanka. Downside of Dunhinda there are three main water Walleyes call Randenigala, Rantambe and Randenigala. Uma oya direct to Rantambe and other two Walleyes from Mahaweli river from Kandy. Uma Oya starts at worldsend and it travels Ambewela, Nuwaraeliya, Uva Paranagama, Welimada, Attampitiya, haliela, Badulla and end with Mahaweli river.

This water ways started with Uma Oya, Hal Oya and various water ways. Dunhinda is at Badulla - Mahiyangana road and there are about 10km from Badulla town. Dunhinda waterfalls at about 1km from main road. This path is to be walk. First you can see little Dunhinda waterfalls which is at downside of main waterfall.

In several years ago Badulla town is a valley. In those time there was no Dunhinda waterfalls in this place. The very big vine is blocked the way of Badulu river and there for Badulla city become big Valley. The man called Ranhawadi Dhuraya tried to remove this vine. However whiting several months he could cut the big vine and he was died in slept. After all the water stoked in Badulla town was flow down in this place and build a nice waterfall called Dunhinda.

Flower is a wonderful thing in nature.A flower is the part of the plant that makes the seeds. The main parts of a flower are the carpels and stamens. These parts are often found in the center of the flower. There are egg cells in the carpel and pollen cells in the stamen.

Rawana Waterfall is one of Beautiful Waterfall in Sri Lanka.It is locate in Ell Walawaya Road ,hill country in Srilanaka.It is 08 meter height. If you see this waterfall you can get great experience.

Ravana waterfalls is one of very beautiful of Sri Lanka and which is situated at Badulla district and you can visit it Near Ella place. This waterfall is situated near the Bandarawela-Wallawawaya road. When you travel along this way you can see nice waterfall called Ravana falls.

Ravana means ancient story of India and Sri Lanka. We can identify that this fall also has long history. Without special reason the name isn't kept. Therefore we can't think that Ravana falls hasn't long history.

Middle of the Ravana fall there is a tunnel. People can’t though it but in King Walagamba's time they might through it. Some people tried to through it although they couldn't get permission. Near Ravana falls there is a Temple called Dova Temple. This temple also has same tunnel. Some says that those tunnels are not two those are only one. Some says that there are tunnel system to protect king and others. Various places of Badulla district have these types of tunnels. Dova Temple was made by King Walagamba in 13th Century
















BEAUTY OF ADMS PEEK

Adams Peak is one of beautiful place in Sri Lanka.The most famous physical feature of Ceylon is Adam's Peak, which is situated in the Ratnapura district. It is on the edge of the central massif but its surrounding group of mountains called the Wilderness of the Peak, is so extensive in comparison to the bulk of the other mountain groups that it appears to form a nucleus of its own, separate from the others. It is about 7500 ft high and, though it is the second highest peak in the land, its position in relation to the topography is so dominant that it stands out above all others.

The physical features of a land are often spoken of first, by a foreign visitor. Physical descriptions compare it to a pearl and a teardrop. Lying at the southern point of India its pendant shape appears like a drop of water as it falls. South of it there is nothing but the Antarctic. It is on the major sea route between West and East Asia and therefore was a trading station for the Arabs and a trading station and a colony for the Portuguese, the Dutch and the British. The Arabian Nights has possibly the first reference to it.

Little Adams peak Ella.
Tiny town of less then a 1000 where we had the best food in Sri Lanka at the Honey and Curd shop, run by this jolly, chubby old man, clubbed up Little Adam's Peak a few times (where I called Dad to listen to his take on his Italy trip), the Buddhist temple woke me with chants each morning at 5am, in time to watch the sunrise over Ella's Gap, got lost hiking up Ella's rock, and tried some real sour Curd, first time ever, ever.
